Vogue India does not have any Indian feel apart from Indian faces. To represent themselves internationally, they follow & copy the west side. There should be something which gives the true sense of India. Photographers also copy western photographers. One cannot judge by the work whether It's a foreign photographer work or Indian
How should a new photographer send you the portfolio if He is not in the same city. would you prefer a email with the photographer website link or some set of images or any other way?
Please upload it on youtube because vimeo is not working in this country. don't know for how long
Hi Martin, Thanks for the initiative.
That's exactly what I'd like Vogue editors to answer - What is it that Vogue India (VOGUE INDIA) look for in a photographer's work that deem them fit for a commission?
Also, what is the extent of budget restrictions while shooting for Vogue India as compared to other Vogue editions?
Does Vogue India only seek out photographers with a proven track record of shooting for large magazines and/or commercial clients, or do they look at a photographer's style and quality of images when considering submissions?
Thanks from Vancouver!!
Thanks for the amazing initiative Martin.
I would like to know about how should photographers price their work. Do editors at Vogue often come across photographers who value their work much more than they deserve and vice-versa?
Thanks again!
Would Vogue India be interested in an initiative for promoting feminism and a healthy body image?
Would Vogue India be interested in an initiative promoting feminism and an healthy body image?
Thanks a ton for this initiative Martin !
here is my question. Does Vogue look at past work of a photographer in terms of a portfolio or would they be hell bent on looking at which university the photographer studied photography at. I am an engineer turned photographer and would want to know if I can make it to Vogue as a photographer if my work is good?
