Big Lights Far Away a major SUCCESS

well, I have to admit that i was nervous, but we pulled it off! The first BLFA went down in Toronto last weekend. There was ten of us in total and we managed to pull together some amazing shots. I'm sure everyone is buckled down in front of their computers posting.

Day 1 saw us shooting some olympic hopefuls at the Toronto Track and Field Centre and Day 2 we were out at the Markham airport shooting fashion and bands.

BLFA is geared towards the advanced amateur photographer who's looking to move beyond their speedlights into some larger light setups. Its designed to be a bridge for those wanted to get into more pro style commercial photography.

Our next BLFA workshop is scheduled for Vancouver end of November...check biglightsfaraway.com soon for details!

Special thanks to everyone who came out, our hair and makeup girls and our bands!

Martin, those are some great photos and very inspiring, especially for your BFLA workshop. You should use some of them or some others as some examples on your biglightsfaraway.com site. Great job!
